Important Updates

First, we have raised nearly $25,000 for construction of our park. Additional fundraising events are being planned - stay tuned!

We need a big fundraising push at this time in order to reach our goal before the ground freezes. Please help by purchasing a Falmouth Dog Park t-shirt at the Friends of Falmouth Dogs, Uptown Dog Cape Cod, or at the Falmouth Farmer's Market this Tuesday. Long and short sleeved shirts are available. FDP t-shirts make great holiday gifts!! 100% of the proceeds from the t-shirt sales go to the dog park fund.

MOST IMPORTANTLY......a public hearing is being held in the Falmouth Selectmen's meeting room this Monday night, 11/22, at 8:40 pm. A public hearing is mandated by the town charter with any use of town land. All of the neighboring property owners have been notified about the hearing by mail. We anticipate some abutters will come to the meeting to advise the Selectmen of their concerns and even OBJECTIONS TO PUTTING A DOG PARK ON THIS PROPERTY. It is essential that as many of us as possible come to this meeting to voice our support for building this park. PLEASE ATTEND IF AT ALL POSSIBLE and wear your Falmouth Dog Park t-shirt if you have one!
